Specialty Vehicle Cab Design, Manufacturing & Assembly
Able Manufacturing & Assembly offers design, manufacturing, and assembly of specialty vehicle cabs for the agriculture, construction, oil & gas, bus, rail, RV and military industries. Our engineering staff works with our customers to design a cab that meets their specific needs. Cabs are fabricated using MIG and TIG welding, bonding, and mechanical fastening. Cabs are produced from aluminum, steel, or stainless steel with Henrob wall constructions and tabular frame constructions, in sizes up to 6‘x 8’. After fabrication, the cabs are assembled and delivered, utilizing our JIT service, to the customer later to be assembled onto the finished vehicle.
We are an ISO 9001: 2008 facility and adhere to AWS welding standards. Our cab construction and painting techniques insure the highest level of corrosion protection, meeting the highest industry standards including GMW 14872, cyclic corrosion testing. Cabs are inspected using our CMM machines and undergo electrical and leak testing before delivery. Typical turnaround on cab construction and assembly is 8 – 12 weeks.
