Able's In-House tooling division can produce Patterns, Molds, & Secondary Fixtures through Conventional & Digital Master Patterns. Rapid Prototypes via CAD/CAM or Hand-Fabricated to Print via 5 Axis CNC Milling Stations. Molds can be produced with a varity of materials, wood, epoxy or polyester.

Able Mfg. employs state of the art tooling technologies to bring our customer's designs to production. The picture at left shows the first step of the tooling process where the customer has sent us CAD surface information for the part they want us to manufacture. Our engineers design a pattern (mold) to produce the shape.

The pattern shape information created in the picture above is downloaded to a 5 Axis CNC milling station like the one at left which replicates the pattern created in the computer. This pattern can then be used to create prototype parts or the pattern will be used to create a permanent aluminum mold.
